GUITAR SUMMER SCHOOL - BIHAC

Bihac Guitar Summer School is set in one of the most beautiful towns in western Bosnia and Herzegovina. This workshop is open to anyone who wishes to advance their technical and artistic craftsmanship on the classical guitar. The workshop includes five days of group classes and private lessons, three evening concerts, participants' concert, and also a guitar orchestra concert on the final day of the workshop.
All classes take place at the “High school for the Arts” located downtown, while all the evening performances take place at the newly renovated hall of the AVNOJ Museum located next to the school.
The workshop schedule is divided into several parts: morning sessions include group classes which focus on the development and strengthening of technical skills and healthy practicing habits on the guitar and guitar orchestra rehearsals, while the afternoon sessions are reserved for individual lessons, chamber music and orchestra rehearsals, and practice. All the materials necessary for group sessions will be provided by the instructors.
One of the additional goals of the workshop is to introduce the participants to a wide variety of classical guitar literature. With this in mind, this workshop includes three evening concerts. Through these concerts, students get a chance to hear how all the technical elements and interpretation aspects discussed in the workshop sessions are applied in real practice.

Workshop participation fee is 25 KM. Payments can be made in any bank to the account no. 1990450002826532 (Udruženje Muzička omladina Bihać). Payment confirmations are accepted during the first day of the workshop.
